Gee-Gees end league play with 3-0 win over Ryerson
(OUA Quarter Final set for Toronto - February 15 @ 2:00pm)

The Gees ended their regular season on a strong note with a 3-0 win over the Ryerson Rams
(25-20, 25-8, 25-20). The win puts Ottawa at 13-4 for the season and tied for second in the OUA East Division.

The match also marked the last home appearance by three fifth year seniors:
Amanda Morgan, Kara Zakrzewska and Amanda Purdy.

“This match was special for a lot of reasons. Our team is preparing for the playoffs and every chance to compete against another team is a chance to get better. I liked the attitude of this team tonight and we are all looking forward to a big battle next weekend.” Coach Woods said. “Finally, to see those three seniors tonight on the floor when the final whistle blew was a great tribute to them and their contribution to this program.”

Ottawa heads to Toronto for their quarter-final match versus the Toronto Varsity Blues next Saturday, February 15 at 2:00pm.
