OUA ANNOUNCES 2002-03 WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL ALL-STARS

HAMILTON - Ontario University Athletics is pleased to announce this year's Women's Volleyball All-Stars. The Guelph Gryphons, who are hosting this year's OUA Final Four Championship this upcoming weekend, garnered the most recognition with five All-Stars, as well as Rookie of the Year and Coach of
the Year honours. First-year Gryphon Stephanie Car, was named Rookie of the Year and received a First Team All-Star in the West division. Linda Melnick received the Coach of the Year award for reversing her team's 4-14 record from last year to a 14-4 first place finish in the regular season.

York, the eighth ranked team in the nation, had three players named as All-Stars, as did the Toronto Varsity Blues and Queen's Golden Gaels. The Yeowomen, Blues and Western Mustangs all advanced from their quarterfinal action this past weekend to make the trip to Guelph to compete for the OUA
