Finish First Half With 3-0 Win Over RMC
Ottawa
extended their home winning streak to four and end the first half
of the season with a 3-0 win (25-13, 25-14, 25-17) over the Royal
Military College Paladins.
The
Gees’ ball control was the key factor to the win. The match
was highlighted by the play of Ottawa’s rookie class, including
having all six rookies start the third set with second year setter
Laura Simons.
Ottawa
now has a week of training left before the December break to continue
building on their first half results including an inter-squad
match Friday, December 3. Ottawa will also be hosting their annual
high school tournament December 4-5.
The
Gees return back to CIS action in January when they host the 20th
Annual Quality Hotel Invitational, January 7-9, 2005. Teams attending
the tournament will be: McMaster, McGill, Sherbrooke, Guelph,
St-Mary’s, Ryerson and Queens
