Loses First Home Game of the Season to Ryerson
Ottawa
lost their first home league match of the season to the Ryerson
University Rams 2-3 (23-25, 25-12, 19-25, 25-20, 14-16). Despite
the loss, Ottawa still sits in third place in the OUA East Division.
“I
give Ryerson full credit for this win. Every match they come out,
compete hard and find a way to get the ball back over the net
over and over again. We, on the other hand, have to use this to
motivate ourselves to work harder and focus on our next match
next weekend.” Coach Lionel Woods said after the match.
The
Gees next match is Saturday, January 22, 2005, when they host
division rivals York University Yoemen at 2:00 pm.
