Ottawa
Stays Perfect at Home With 3-1 Win Over Waterloo
The
Gee-Gees women’s volleyball team stays perfect at home with
a 3-1 win over the visiting Waterloo Warriors (15-25, 25-16, 25-21,
25-16). The win is the fifth is row at home for the Gees and pushes
their overall OUA record to 7-2 and sole possession of 2nd place
in the OUA East Division.
“It
was a strange start to this match. It was as if we were too intense
and focused and forgot how to just play with attitude. This team
is much better when it’s relaxed and having fun. Some where
in set 2, the players decided to change the feel out there and
we just grabbed the momentum to take the next three sets.”
Head Coach Lionel Woods said after the match.
Ottawa
will close out the first half of the season at home against the
Ryerson Rams tomorrow, December 4th, at 12:00 noon.
