GAME STORY
Ottawa native Christine Lamey hit the floor and pounded the ball with both grace and power as the Gee-Gees swept Lakehead University over the weekend, to remain in first-place in the OUA East.

uOttawa widened its first-place lead over chief rival Toronto, improving to 6-2 on the year after a 25-15, 25-22, 25-23 win Friday before following up with a 25-16, 25-16, 25-19 win Saturday.Lamey, a fifth-year leftside/rightside hitter, finished with 42 kills and 24 digs for the Gee-Gees. The Gee-Gees, off next week, host Ryerson University Saturday, November 24, 2:00 p.m. at Montpetit Hall.
