Training and Competition


TYPICAL PRACTISE SCHEDULE
* This may not be an exact schedule each year but is a good starting point to use
as a guide when you are building your class schedule. Every player usually has a
some overlap with our practice schedule and their class schedule but we ask our
players to do their best to keep conflicts to a minimum *

IDEAL PRACTICE SCHEDULE BOTH SEMESTERS

MONDAYS:
6:50 am – 8:15 am Team physical training - Gym 1

TUESDAYS:
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Team training - Gym 1
... Will only end up using 2 of the 3 hour slot after getting players schedules
... TRYING TO START AT 4:30 PM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE

WEDNESDAYS:
2:30 pm- 6:30 pm Team training - Gym 1
...Will only end up using 2 of the 3.5 hour slot after getting players schedules
... TRYING TO START AT 2:30 PM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE **

THURSDAYS:
4:00 pm- 7:00 pm Team training- Gym 1
...Will only end up using 2 of the 3 hour slot after getting players schedules
... TRYING TO START AT 4:30 PM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE

FRIDAYS:
3:00 pm- 6:00 pm Team training- Gym 1
... Will only end up using 2 of the 3 hour slot after getting players schedules

December exam period training:
* 2 weeks of team and individual physical training sessions and individual vball volume

* Then athletes are free to return home roughly as of December 15th or after final exam

* X-MAS TRAINING CAMP (roughly December 28th – January 3rd)

* 1st weekend in January we annually host:
The Quality Hotel University of Ottawa Invitational Tournament
